They’re hired: BC Partners, SilverStreet and Temasek have new staff

Investment manager BC Partners has appointed a head of fund administration in London, and UK firm SilverStreet has named its new general counsel.

BC Partners has appointed Mark Spink as head of fund administration at the firm. He joined at the end of October from Bridgepoint, a global mid-market focused private equity firm. Prior to this, he was head of private equity at Standard Bank South Africa.

Edison Partners, a private equity firm based in New Jersey, has named Lenard Marcus as its latest general partner. He joined the firm as a business development executive in 2005, and was made partner in 2014.

SilverStreet Capital, a UK-based private equity firm, has hired Sarah-Jane Miller as general counsel. She joined in January, but the firm announced the appointment in the fourth quarter, along with the third close of its Silverlands II fund. Miller joined from Private Oil & Gas Investment, where she was a senior legal counsel.

Northern Trust Asset Management named Keishi Yamamoto as its new head of Japan. He joins from Wellington Management Japan, where he had been head of pensions for a decade. He replaces Hidehiro Nakayama who will retire later this year.

Temasek International, the asset management arm of the Singapore sovereign wealth fund, has announced a round of senior promotions, including naming Chia Song Hwee as chief operating officer and president. He will continue in his role as joint head of investment and portfolio management.
