GPB Capital, a US private equity firm, has appointed Craig Goos as chief operating officer and managing partner, according to a statement from the firm.
Goos joins the firm from North Capital Private Securities Corporation, a US broker dealer for the private funds industry, where he was president.
GPB Capital is a US-focused private equity firm, with $1 billion of assets under management. The firm has raised seven funds since 2013, the largest being GPB Automotive Portfolio, which held a first close on $332 million and is currently investing, according to PEI data.
Its most recent fund, GPB NYC Development, held a final close on $41.8 million in 2016.
Goos takes on the role from current COO and general counsel, Roger Anscher. It is not clear whether Anscher will remain at the firm
