Pinsent Masons to open in Dublin

The practice will be led by three partners including Gayle Bowen, an alternative investments partner.

Pinsent Masons, a global law firm, is opening a Dublin office led by a three-partner team joining from other firms.

Gayle Bowen is an investments fund partner, specialising in Irish alternative investment fund products. She joins from the Dublin office of Walkers, a law firm focused on offshore financial advice. She currently chairs the Irish Funds Legal & Regulatory committee, representing the industry at a national and European level.

She is joined by Dennis Agnew, a corporate lawyer with a focus on inward investment. He joins from Byrne Wallace.

Andreas Carney, a data and IT partner from Mathesons also joins the team.

The new office brings Pinsent Masons’s Irish headcount to 12 partners and more than 20 lawyers.

In the US, global firm K&L Gates has appointed David Dueno as a private equity partner in its Chicago office. He joins from Quantum Global, an asset management firm with a private equity fund focused on sub-Saharan Africa, where he was senior legal counsel.
