Ducera launches PE group

Ducera Partners, a US investment bank, has launched a private equity practice, offering debt and equity financing to private companies.

Douglas Conrod has been appointed to lead the practice as managing director. He joins from FocusPoint Private Capital, a US private equity firm, where he was managing principal and head of direct investments for seven years.

Ducera currently has an M&A, restructuring and liability advisory practice, as well as a capital advisory service. It is based in New York.

The announcement follows FTI Consulting’s launch of a private equity practice earlier this month, pooling its existing private market expertise to form the group.
