Fengate Capital hires legal consultant

Anne Stewart has previously advised the firm on its Canadian infrastructure investments.

Fengate Capital Management, a Canadian alternative asset manager, has appointed Anne Stewart as a legal consultant.

Stewart will work closely with the firm’s in-house counsel Heather Crawford, and its team across Canada, the US and Australia.

She has advised Fengate on some of their previous infrastructure investments in Canada, including its investment into the Surrey Memorial Hospital in British Columbia, built by portfolio company EllisDon.

She will remain infrastructure and project finance counsel at international business law firm, Blake, Cassels & Graydon.

Fengate Capital Management makes private equity, infrastructure and real estate investments, and has C$15 billion ($11.2 billion; €10.6 billion) under management.
