Tatum hires new PE partner

The professional services firm has hired Chris Shaw as regional partner of private equity services in the north-east US.

Tatum, a US professional services firm, has appointed Chris Shaw as regional partner of its private equity services operations in Northeastern US.

His main responsibilities are to develop clients’ portfolio companies and expand the firm’s roster of New York private equity firms.

Prior to Tatum, Shaw was managing director at Oberon Securities and held investment manager positions at Viking Asset Management and Promethean Capital Group.

Shaw began his new role in October, but the firm announced his appointment earlier this week.

Tatum’s core private equity services include business consulting for portfolio investments, interim management personnel, audit and accounting services.
