Citigroup veteran resurfaces at FD Fund Administration

FD Fund Administration recruited a key hire following the sale of Citigroup’s fund administration business earlier this year.

FD Fund Administration named Tom DiEgidio head of its private equity services practice. He joins from Citigroup, which earlier this year sold its fund administration business to SS&C Technologies for $425 million, as previously reported on pfm.

DiEgidio brings with him over 20 years of experience in private equity and real estate fund accounting and administration. In his new role, he will be responsible for business development and serving the needs of FD Fund Administration’s existing private equity clients.

Earlier in his career, he served as controller for CMS Companies, a private equity and real estate investment advisor.

At FD Fund Administration, he will work with the private equity team and leverage the services of the firm’s parent company, Frazier & Deeter, which provides tax planning, accounting, forensic accounting, SOC reporting and other services, according to a press release.

Philadelphia-based FD Fund Administration itself offers fund accounting, investment reporting, tax administration, valuation services, investor servicing, company reporting and portfolio analytics, among other services.Â
