LAVCA’s Andrade to lead new First Avenue office

The placement agent is setting up shop in Dallas from March 1.

First Avenue is opening a Dallas office in March, offering placement and investment advice to clients targeting southern US and Latin American private funds.

The office will be led by Fabiana Cid de Andrade, who will be charged with origination and distribution across private equity, private credit, real estate and real assets throughout the Southeast of the US and Latin America.

Andrade is senior advisor at the Latin America Venture Capital Association and serves on the board of the LAVCA Foundation. Before joining First Avenue, she was vice-president of Credit Suisse’s private funds group, where she led the firm’s alternative asset activities across Latin America.

First Avenue is a global advisory and capital placement business focused on private funds and private companies. The Dallas office will be the firm’s third US outpost, bringing its global office count to six.
