Ipes bolsters team with two new hires

The European fund administrator has appointed senior staff in its London and Guernsey offices.

David Bateman and Sumindra Bains-Cleary have joined Ipes, a Europe-focused private equity fund administrator.

Bateman will be based in the Guernsey office, where he will manage an administration team responsible for private equity funds. He joins from Conifer Financial Services, where he was head of operations for Singapore and the British Virgin Islands.

Bains-Cleary has been named head of commercial finance, based in London. She was previously corporate development and corporate strategy manager at technology service provider Xchanging.

She will be responsible for providing management information and business intelligence.

The appointments follow the hire of ex-Lazard Asset Management managing director Adrian Gardner in January.

Ipes has five European offices and offers AIFMD reporting services, risk management and LP due diligence services.
