FundRock appoints legal chief for Ireland

FundRock, an international fund administrator, has appointed a head of legal and compliance to its Dublin office.

Louise Harris will manage all the legal matters related to the firm’s Irish operations. Her expertise includes fund law and regulation, including product structuring, trading, corporate governance, regulatory reporting and marketing and distribution.

Harris was most recently general counsel at Abbey Capital, an Irish multi-asset manager, where she spent eight years.

The firm is steadily developing its Irish presence, with Harris being one of the first hires to the Dublin office, says Ross Thomson, director of Ireland at FundRock.

FundRock’s Dublin office opened in February this year, in a client-led move to Ireland.
