A&O, Mayer Brown hire new PE partners

Driss Bererhi joins Allen & Overy in Paris, while Mae Rogers has joined Mayer Brown in New York.

Allen & Overy has appointed Driss Bererhi as an infrastructure partner in its Paris office.
He advises investment funds and other financial services companies on regulatory and transactional matters.

He joins from Bird & Bird, a London-based international firm, where he was an associate in its Paris office. His clients include InfraVia Capital, a European private equity firm.

In the US, Mayer Brown, an international law firm, has appointed Mae Rogers as a banking and finance partner.

Based in New York, Rogers’ practice includes advising private equity funds on financing structures with a specific focus on leveraged finance.

She joins from US firm Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, where she was special counsel. Her clients there included Stone Point Capital, a US private equity firm.
