Alter Domus completes deal for Super ManCo

The firm’s acquisition of Luxembourg Fund Partners enables it to offer AIFM and UCITS services from the country.

Fund administrator Alter Domus has completed its acquisition of Super ManCo Luxembourg Fund Partners and is now able to offer third-party AIFM and UCITS services in the country.

The firm has changed its name to Alter Domus Management Company following the deal for one of the first Luxembourg-based management companies to comply with the alternative investment fund managers directive.

With the acquisition the firm says it can now be “an enhanced one-stop-shop solution to investors looking to access the European market for distribution of funds with alternative strategies in a homogeneous and regulatory controlled environment,” said CEO Laurent Vanderweyen. He added that had “always been the aim and spirit of the AIFMD.”

The deal has seen the administrator make a number of personnel additions, including the appointment of Antonis Anastasiou as managing director and conducting officer and Alain Delobbe as head of operations and conducting officer. Ilias Georgopoulos, who oversaw the integration of Super ManCo into the firm, has been appointed to the board of the Alter Domus management company.

The change of name and additional service offering comes in the same month the firm completed its acquisition of Chicago-headquartered fund administrator Cortland Capital Market Services.

Last year it opened its second Ireland office and three years ago set up in Australia.
